St. Anthony's, FL: Becky Lavelle, after having had a rough 6 months, is finding back to her form, finishing strongly in 5th place in this incredibly competitive race. 
IM South Africa: SLS3 athletes Bella Comerford and Stephen Bayliss both take home mindblowing victories
IM Arizona: Jordan Rapp finishes 3rd in SLS3 compression socks!

Married couple Nicole and Wolfgang Guembel successfully start into their 2008 season with respectable finishes.

IM Australia: Petr Vabrousek has a tough time down under but still finishes in the top 10.

This month is an extremely busy one, it looks like, Ironman races almost piling up on top of each other, and other classic races happening as well.

St. Anthony's, Florida:
Becky Lavelle is back! The past six months were extremely rough for Becky and her family after her twin sister's and new baby's tragic deaths.
Now Becky has come back not only to the sport of triathlon with a solid 5th place finish at the incredibly competitive Florida race but to a different cause. Becky and her family have founded 'Jenny's light', a foundation to create awareness about postpartum depression.

Ironman, Ironman, Ironman

IM South Africa proves to be a win-win situation for Great Britain's power couple Bella Comerford and Stephen Bayliss. Bella wins, and Stephen wins, too!
Race No. 2 - check!

Next on the agenda for the Brit's: Lanzarote, Austria and the UK. 

While Bella and Stephen seemingly breeze through their race, Petr Vabrousek doesn't have such an easy time down under.
Petr is battling a heavy fever a few days before the race and seriously contemplating not racing (that means it's bad, folks). But the temperature and weakness just let up enough to change Petr's mind - and he races.

The crazy Czech still manages to place in the top ten of Ironman Australia!!

It's a 'Rapp'!

Jordan Rapp has an awesome hot and windy race at IM Arizona, and wraps up the race in a great third place. He says he felt awesome, and wearing SLS3 socks helped a lot.

IM New Zealand: Engaged SLS3 athletes Bella Comerford and Stephen Bayliss each take 4th place.

The beginning of March always means a couple of things:
One, it's the webmaster's birthday and two, it's IM New Zealand time! (And when the two fall on the same day, she will do the race!)

This March engaged Ironman couple Bella Comerford and Stephen Bayliss chose to start their Ironman season in New Zealand. With weather conditions that were already very much announcing fall - winds, rain and grey skies - both athletes gave a solid performance and each finished in 4th place.

Canadians Nicole and Wolfgang Guembel sign with SLS3 The married Canadians with the German name have come on board as the third athlete couple - that wasn't planned though - all couples. Nic and Wolf not only race, they lead training camps and do motivational speaking in Canada and the USA. www.nicandwolf.com
