SLS3 Ultrarunner Dane Rauschenberg Took 10th place on March 2nd at the USATF 50K National Championships on a rather nippy day.

Jessica Jacobs wins Mercedes Marathon!
The State of Alabama's most prominent endurance event was won by SLS3 professional triathlete Jessica Jacobs.
Jessica was 5th in last year's event but after a successful rookie professional triathlete season she was hoping for a sub-three hour time and a victory. Posting steady mile splits throughout the course, Jacobs was able to finish the 26.2 mile race 6 minutes faster than her original predictions.
Coming up next on Jessica's schedule is the inaugural Ironman 70.3 New Orleans on April 5th, where she hopes to qualify for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships to be held in early November in Clearwater, Florida.
